This work is a negative of the original painting made as a performance in 2023 on backlit paper. I like the green misty gradient of the work, which supports the brushstrokes reminiscent of some vegetation or writing. Citrinitas refers to the intermediatory stage of the alchemical transformation process, where a yellowish tone begins to form in the material worked into white in the previous stage. Citrinitas is a moment in the process when something new begins to emerge. That´s what spring represents.
